We are very excited to welcome Woven Durham to Prince Bishops Place!
We have been working tirelessly over the last few weeks on our new project and we’re almost ready to launch!
As some of you may know, Chris took on the lovely ladies from Quickstitch after its closure and they took root in the basement, rebranding as the Woven Workshop. The girls in our alterations department are second to none and have worked so hard to elevate Woven and help us offer more services to our customers, including in house alterations and tailoring.
Being such a success, they have outgrown our basement and will be relocating into their own space!
Still very much an extension of the Woven brand, the workshop will be located a stones throw away in Prince Bishops Place, with Next as our neighbours.
We are very excited about our expansion and can’t wait to see all of our alterations customers in our new space – it’s looking rather spectacular if we do say so ourselves!
Not to worry for those having alterations done as part of a purchase, nothing is changing with our tailoring services and we will be continuing as normal.
As the ladies are relocating, we will be offering even more choice in our Elvet Bridge store with the addition of a third floor of menswear and gifting in the basement.
We will be holding an official launch for the Workshop on the 8th April for staff and customers to raise a glass and celebrate such an achievement and all of the hard work throughout the day. Although, we hope to be set up and open to the public this coming Saturday 1st April and we promise it isn’t an April fools!
Thank you to our Alterations team Mary, Tracey & Donna, and all of our fantastic customers for making this possible.
