The Durham City 5K and 10K run took place during the evening of Thursday 15th July 2021, where runners were lead through the historic streets of Durham.
Prince Bishops Place were proud sponsors of the event, which saw around 2,000 participants take part.
The Durham World Heritage Site provided the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chased through the narrow-cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear.
Whether running 5 or 10K, finishers ran through the line at Palace Green in between the Cathedral and the Castle. Finishers picked up their well-earned medal, T-Shirt and goody bag! Every runner was timed through an electronic chip. The winner of the 2021 Prince Bishops Place Durham City 10K was Cameron Allan of Houghton Harriers in 32 minutes and 23 seconds. The women’s race was won by Emma Bramley in 40:03.
