Experience Durham In A Different Light
Luxmuralis is landing at Durham Cathedral for a third year with Space – an immersive light and sound art installation, taking its visitors on an intergalactic journey through the cathedral.
Dazzling projections on Durham Cathedral’s centuries-old architecture will feature original footage of a rocket launch, and show the final image of Earth, looking back from space under a galaxy of stars.

You can experience Space over five days from Wednesday, 9th October to Sunday, 13th October 2024. Tickets are now on sale and available to purchase here.
Car Parking For Space
The Prince Bishops Place Car Park is just a short walk from Durham Cathedral and the closest car park for visitors attending Space.
Take advantage of our lower Overnight Tariff when you enter the car park after 6pm. Our award-winning car park includes twenty-two accessible parking bays and six EV charging points.
