We’re proud to be located in the heart of Durham and are transforming parking at Prince Bishops Place to ensure a greener city for our community and visitors to enjoy. With dynamic parking in place, Levels 4, 5, 6 & 7 of the car park will be closed after 6pm every day, allowing us to reduce pollution and improve energy efficiency. This initiative is estimated that this initiative will contribute an 11-ton saving on our annual CO2 emissions.

With the aim of making Prince Bishops Place the greenest place to park in Durham, we are the first multi-storey car park in the city centre to have dedicated EV charging bays. Six Pod-Point charging bays are conveniently on Level 1 where environmentally conscious shoppers can plug their vehicles into to charge before heading off for some retail therapy.
