We Will Remember Them
Remembrance Sunday is a chance to reflect on the sacrifices made by generations past.
This year, the Durham Remembrance Parade is set to be the biggest yet, with more Armed Forces representatives taking part than ever before.
Taking place on Sunday 8th November, the service will begin at 10.15am at Durham Cathedral, followed by a two-minute silence at 11am. The parade will set off from the cathedral at 11.30am and will proceed past Prince Bishops Place en route to Market Place, finishing around midday.
For those travelling into the city to pay their respects, Prince Bishops Car Park is the closest car park to Durham Cathedral, and is a short walk from the parade route.
