Welcome to Durham Museum
The Durham Museum tells the story of the people and businesses that have shaped the City of Durham over the past two hundred years. With collections ranging from a whale’s skeleton to a matchstick model of the Cathedral, it is a hidden gem in the middle of the city.
The museum is free to enter and is run entirely by volunteers.
