Rock ‘n’ Roll Through Fire & Ice at Prince Bishops Place
It’s back and better than ever! Durham BID’s fantastic Fire & Ice Sculpture Trail returns to Durham City on Friday 28th February and Saturday 1st March 2025, this year with a musical theme!
Prepare to be amazed by ten stunning ice sculptures crafted by talented artists, on display throughout Durham.
Rock ‘n’ roll your way to the Fire & Ice trail starting point, the interactive Beatles Drum Kit, located at Prince Bishops Place – it’s a must-see sculpture and the perfect photo op!
Free Family Event
This free family-friendly event runs from 10:00am – 5:30pm each day, offering interactive installations, live entertainment, and themed displays inspired by the elements of fire and ice, along with the power of music.
The atmosphere will come alive with fiery performances, showcasing dazzling displays of heat and flame. Each day, live shows will take place at Market Place at 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm.
Central Car Parking
Staying in the city for the day? Park at Prince Bishops Place car park for central and affordable parking. If the kids need to warm up, Bertie’s Play Village is a great option to keep them entertained and grab a bite to eat!
