Small Business Success for Northern Stores & Deli!
And the winner of Mary Kelly Foy MP’s Small Business Special Recognition Award 2024 goes to… Northern Stores and Deli at Prince Bishops Place!
Each year, Mary Kelly Foy MP, runs this fantastic initiative where the people of Durham can vote for who they think deserves to win her Small Business Special Recognition Award.
This year, 38 local businesses were nominated and 4200 votes were counted, however, it was Northern Stores & Deli at Prince Bishops Place who took the winning title!
Mary Kelly Foy MP said, “It was great to stop by and see Matty and the team in Northern Stores and Deli. Much more than simply a shop, Matty engages with so many people from customers, residents, parish councillors, community groups and more.”
“His business is a real hub in the city and much-loved by everyone who knows it. From various testimonies I received, it was clear Northern Stores and Deli deserved some form of recognition, and I was only too pleased to provide it.”
